3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided to us. Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • The actual work required upon inspection
  • Additional materials or parts needed
  • Unforeseen complications discovered during work

We will always inform you of any price changes before proceeding with additional work.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
  • For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work commences
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT

5. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours notice
  • Short-notice cancellations may incur a call-out charge
  • For emergency services, cancellations after engineer dispatch may be charged

6. Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work:

  • All work is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from completion
  • Parts and equipment carry manufacturer warranties
  • Our guarantee covers workmanship and does not extend to damage caused by misuse or third-party interference

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the work required
  • Ensuring safe access to the work area
  • Securing pets and valuables
  • Being present or arranging access for scheduled appointments
  • Maintaining heating systems between service intervals

8. Liability

Spot on Heating carries full public liability insurance. We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing defects not disclosed at the time of quotation
  • Damage caused by customer negligence or misuse
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Work carried out by third parties after our service

9. Gas Safety

All our engineers are Gas Safe registered. We comply fully with current UK gas safety regulations. If we identify any unsafe gas appliances or installations, we have a legal duty to report them and may need to disconnect the supply.

10. Emergency Services

Our 24/7 emergency service is available for genuine emergencies including gas leaks, boiler breakdowns, and water leaks. Emergency call-out charges apply outside normal working hours.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about our service, please contact us immediately. We aim to resolve all issues promptly and amicably. If we cannot reach a resolution, disputes will be handled in accordance with UK law.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
